Catalog description:

Introduction to Clinical Research is a 2 credit hour course that aims to provide the concepts and basic application skills relevant to clinical research within the field of pharmacy. Students will gain exposure to essential developmental components involved in clinical research. The course will focus on subjects such as study design, protocol synthesis, research evaluation, relevant ethical and legal considerations, data analysis, and future professional opportunities involving clinical research. Occasionally, guest speakers with expertise in different areas of clinical research will present lectures to the class.
