Catalog description:

The role of the medical technologist in the clinical laboratory. Overview of the clinical departments, with an emphasis on disease states and on the procedures and instruments used to perform clinical tests. Special topics and case studies are presented. Provides students with an idea of what to expect during their clinical experiences. Instructors: medical technologists from the affiliated hospital programs.
