Catalog description:

This is the basic occupational ergonomics course that is offered to Purdue juniors, seniors, and graduate students. It focuses on ergonomics principles including: contributing disciplines, objectives of ergonomics, workplace stress factors and terminology; skeletal and muscular system during work; engineering anthropometry; biomechanics; work physiology; workstation design; cumulative trauma disorders; manual materials handling; work-tool design; and human-machine systems.
