Catalog description:
Organic chemistry; a study of the compounds of carbon on a functional group basis, with particular emphasis on those organic compounds of pharmaceutical and physiological importance; microlaboratory experiments involving the methods of purification, reactions, and synthesis of organic compounds.Instructor's description:
Completion of two semesters (or credit) in General Chemistry, a GPA of at least 2.50, and no standing D or F grades in General Chemistry are prerequisites for registration.
