Catalog description:

Strategies for preparation of grant proposals; generating ideas for proposals; and peer review. Lecture and laboratory periods will alternate each week (i.e., lecture week one, laboratory week two).
Instructor's description:
Instructions for the preparation and submission of an NIH style grant proposal will be covered. Each student will write and submit a complete proposal. The proposals will be student reviewed in a mock study section at the end of the course.
