Catalog description:

Pharmacy Skills and Patient Counseling (1 credit hour) is the first required, experiential course of the Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience sequence. Students complete 30 hours of experience in the Purdue University Pharmacy and 15 hours of recitation. Students learn and apply pharmacy law, prescription processing and dispensing, and patient counseling skills in a faculty-mentored, campus-based pharmacy.
